Now you can categorise the lists which you offer for your susbscribers, making them easier to organise and navigate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phplist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/categorizationfeature-436x450.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-739\" alt=\"categorizationfeature-436x450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.phplist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/categorizationfeature-436x450.png\" width=\"436\" height=\"415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.phplist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/categorizationfeature-436x450.png 436w, https:\/\/www.phplist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/categorizationfeature-436x450-300x285.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 436px) 100vw, 436px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Categorisation of lists via the admin interface is a longstanding phpList feature; now however the same categories can be shown to your subscribers on public pages. Categories will only be displayed if public lists exist within them.<\/p>\n<p>This feature can be enabled for all subscribe pages, or for specific pages of your choosing. A responsive multi-column layout is used to display the available categories, lists, and descriptions.<\/p>\n<p>The new setting is off by default; find it under <span class=\"breadcrumbs\">Settings \u2192 list-organisation settings \u2192 Display list categories on subscribe page<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Activating this setting will set categorisation &#8216;on&#8217; for every Subscribe page that is added thereafter. Existing Subscribe pages can be changed manually by going <span class=\"breadcrumbs\">Subscribe pages\u00a0\u2192 Edit page\u00a0\u2192 Select the lists to offer\u00a0\u2192 Display lists in labelled categories<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Other improvements now available:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Return an error message when a Subscribe page accessed via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phplist.com\/knowledgebase\/website-integration\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ajax integration<\/a> doesn\u2019t exist, for easier debugging<\/li>\n<li>Add HTML IDs on subscribe page form elements for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Web_Content_Accessibility_Guidelines\"> WCAG accessibility compliance <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Improve the warning message for bounces which were recorded but where no bounce data exists<\/li>\n<li>Fix \u201cAdd a list\u201d button on import pages<\/li>\n<li>Relabel \u201cViews\u201d to \u201cUnique Views\u201d on \u201cView Opens\u201d page to make it more explicit<\/li>\n<li>Fix automatic link detection and tracking rewriting so HTTPS links stay HTTPS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new option for displaying your lists is now available, plus a number of smaller improvements to your account.
