FAA and phplist

The US Federal Aviation Administration's Eastern Region office uses phplist to notify pilots, instructors, mechanics, and airport owners of important safety information. Subscribers are able to choose from 222 different lists to select areas of interest that are most important to them. The best part of phplist over a mailing list is that the same person can be subscribed to multiple lists, but only receive one copy of any announcement. It works great!

Get to grips with the phpList e-mail announcement delivery system!

Get the book "phpList 2 E-mail Campaign Manager" from Packt Publishing.

"phpList 2 E-mail Campaign Manager" will guide you from basic installation and setup through management, reporting, and automation of phpList, the world's most popular open source e-mail campaign manager. It also covers advanced customization and configuration of phpList. This book is an invaluable guide for any e-mail publisher who wants a robust and powerful engine to manage their small-to-huge e-mail distribution empire.

The book was written for phpList version 2, but many elements still apply to version 3.
